There are many, many reasons why I train with White Crane Martial Arts, but some attention should be brought to the fact that we have the most dedicated team of instructors in the business. While the good-old-British-weather does its finest to disrupt our going-about-our-business, White Crane Martial Arts marches forth with the unflinching determination of a tooled up rhino. The recent weather has caused mayhem with many of this country’s services but I am proud and appreciative to announce that we have not cancelled any of our classes thanks to the commitment of Russell and Shaf. Yes it’s been business as usual as we continue to train through these adverse weather conditions. As martial artists of the highest calibre, if we commit to teaching, there will be a class on come hell or high water.
Not satisfied with simply carrying on regardless, and in true White Crane spirit, we just had to go one step further. Transporting our fantastic Lion Dance team and equipment over to Worthing, we took centre stage at a superb event by performing five Lion Dances in the town plus two demonstrations. Undeterred by the snow and the cold, three of these Lion Dances involved marching through the streets and performing in the town centre. Even the event organiser was amazed and impressed with our dedication to deliver the goods in such conditions. When many clubs are disrupted and cancelling classes we are out in the thick of it performing Lion Dance.
This really demonstrates the spirit of the club and Russell and Shaf’s passion to teach quality martial arts, even when the world around us is in chaos. This is a passion that runs through all of our instructors, bringing the highest level of commitment to our students. It would be the easy option to cancel classes, but that is not the attitude of a truly committed martial arts organisation. That is why you can rely on us to teach you the complete system of White Crane, every day of the week, come what may.
